Our experts take care of the optimal rearing of the chickens and we continuously monitor their entire life cycle. It is important to us that our slaughterhouses receive the best possible quality and optimum weight of chickens, so that our customers receive the quality they expect in time.

ACCREDITED LABORATORY SERVICES
Product safety has always been a key priority for the Gallus Group. This involves maintaining its own testing laboratory to guarantee quality products for its customers and partners, as well as compliance with veterinary and legal requirements in the integration from feed production to the primary production stage of poultry breeding and rearing.
The laboratory is mainly responsible for the testing of the sites belonging to the Gallus Group. The majority of the tasks are planned in advance and set out in work programmes, while a smaller number are based on tests that arise as needs arise in the meantime. In addition, the laboratory also accepts commissions from external customers.
CONTRACT HATCHING
The group’s hatcheries in Devecser and Bábolna currently have the capacity to hatch around 120 million eggs per year. Our broiler hatcheries incorporate the most advanced hatching technology to ensure the quality our customers and we expect.
In our hatcheries, hatching is carried out to a high professional, technological and hygienic standard, so that we can raise and deliver healthy day-old chicks to our customers. During the process, we pay particular attention to ensuring optimum temperature, humidity, air exchange and rotation to achieve optimal hatching results. Our equipment is fully automated and computer-controlled, so that we can ensure consistent and consistent conditions throughout the incubation phases. Our plants are equipped with vaccination machines, which enable us to provide our customers and partners with birds with the protection required by the current epidemiological situation.
SALE OF BROILER FEED
In order to breed high quality stock, we pay special attention to optimal nutrition, as one of the key points in large-scale broiler production is the selection of the right feed line. The granulated feed mixtures we produce are adapted to the development of the chickens according to their age, from the day old stage to the finishing stage before slaughter. Our broiler feeds are free from animal protein. We produce 22-24.000 tons of feed mixes per year at our site in Devecser. In our feed mixing plant, the feed is hygienised at high temperatures and we pay special attention to the salmonella-free production of feed mixes and the maintenance of this freedom. The quality of the feed we produce is therefore constantly monitored in our own laboratory.
SALE OF BROILER HATCHING EGGS
The Gallus Group’s objective is to breed the best quality breeding pairs of birds, as this is the basis for the production of quality hatching eggs, which is the fundamental determinant of the quality of the day-old chicks, i.e. the basis for the efficiency of the overall integration. The Group has around 200 poultry houses, which represent 25 % of the domestic flock. At our sites we keep COBB-500 and ROSS308 breeding pairs. The birds are kept under controlled conditions, in compliance with the veterinary law, fed with feed controlled by the company. The breeding pairs provide us with around 90 million hatching eggs per year, which are hatched in our own hatchery. Hatching eggs are sold to new customers after individual prior consultation and customer audits.
SALE OF BROILER DAY-OLD CHICK
Our group of companies rears 6 million broiler chickens per year in 40 poultry houses owned by us. We hatch the eggs ourselves and rear the chicks ourselves. As an indication of the high quality of our products, other poultry meat producers also buy Gallus day-old chicks for their own integration, even at prices above the average market price. We do not feed animal protein to the chicks and we seek optimal housing conditions. We monitor the health of our birds under constant veterinary control and with a veterinary laboratory background. It is of paramount importance to us that the birds live a healthy life in a good environment.
